Status: Moved

Happy New Year!

We have finally moved into our new house.  It doesn’t quite feel like home yet.  Boxes are stacked everywhere, some still packed with our belongings and others partially unpacked.

Moving has been much more emotional than I had expected it to be.  Some days I need to stop unpacking, arranging or trying to find my things and just go for a walk.  I miss walking out the front door and talking with my old neighbors across the street, walking to my favorite coffee houses and bakeries.  It is going to take time to make this place our home.  I still haven’t found all my knitting stuff and am not sure where my camera is currently.  Maybe when I  have found a few more things I will feel more at home.
