I apologize for the radio silence. It has been a few months of highs and lows. When ever I get all comfortable and life is going well, life has a way of reminding you that life is not always comfortable. Often wonderful things are sprinkled through out the difficult times. During some immense sadness, we were lucky to have some amazing people around us. A few from out of town and many that live in town. It is interesting how sadness can bring people closer…
But seriously, there has been knitting. Here are some of the projects that I have finished. There are a bunch that are still in the works.
Knitted Sloth
The sloth was a part of a trade. One of the best trades ever! It always makes me feel so good when someone likes what I make and is interested in trading.
Knitted Totoro
This is my attempt at a knitted Totoro. To be quite honest, this is my 6th attempt at a Totoro. I have wanted to make one for a long time. I am not sure what took me so long to just figure it out on the needles. But here it is, finally.
Knitted Totoro
The whole thing is sitting in a 2″ x 3.5″ box. Now that I have finally taken a picture of it I can send it off in the mail. I can’t wait for him to get it, it has been a long time coming.
That is all that I have for now. I have projects lined up for photos. Hopefully I will tackle that on Thursday!
