Summer time BBQs
Next is all the summertime BBQs. Eating outside with friends is always fun. We have been frequenting BBQs and dinner parties with friends all summer. I love potlucks because it gives me a chance to practice a new recipe. Also food cooked on a grill taste delicious and here in the Pacific Northwest we have a limited amount of time to BBQ on our patios.
Going to the Bellevue Art Museum
I went to the Bellevue Art Museum with my mom and sister on a Saturday afternoon. There are a lot of amazing exhibits there, Paper Folding, At Your Service, The Art of Gamon and Under Pressure, all amazing collections. Not to mention two pieces by Erich Wohl (I am a fan). This is one of my favorite museums. I love that they focus on craft and design. I can spend hours there. I highly suggest this anytime of the year.
Paper Folding at the BAM
This is a shot I took at one of the imaginations stations in the BAM. It inspired me to work on some more felt dahlias. To make some room for my ideas, I also rearranged my studio.
