Urban wildlife

Watching shows or movies on the computer is difficult while knitting but listening to a story makes me happy.  David Sedaris makes me very happy.

I made these little guys because I have been listening to “Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk” by David Sedaris, one of my favorite authors.  I usually listen to the radio or podcasts while I knit.

   

The shape of the squirrel is my version of Erich Woll’s work.  A glass artist that I admire.  I love what he makes.  He has a show coming up soon in Seattle at Winston Wachter Gallery in September/October.  If you are in Seattle around at that time come check it out.  I am very excited to see what he has made.
