The element of surprise
If you are familiar with my little blog you know that mailing out gifts is something I like to do. Today I received this in the mail from Japan! This is a trade that I am doing with a friend.
When I open the mail box I usually end up with a handful of junk mail and bills. Today I went to the mail and saw a large manila envelope! Even as an adult getting something in the mail is exciting. Getting a hand addressed package n the mail is even more exciting than getting something that you have ordered online.
One of my favorite things is new socks! Toe socks and tabu socks are even better and super cute. I can’t wait to wear these. I love new socks and I try not to wear plain white socks. These are far from plain. I received this amazing package of cute from my friend that is living in Japan currently with her family. Originally it was a trade for socks but it looks like she threw in a few fun surprises. I can’t wait to mail out her package.
Speaking of mailing things out. My dining room table is covered with goodies to send out. Just a few more projects that have snuck in here and there as I work towards finishing a few bigger projects that are nearing completion. I have been working surprise packages for the last few days. Here is a quick snapshot of the finished packaging.
